Concept

Comparing Sprouts Organic Garbanzo Bean Can refresh to break down their choices on hierarchy and overall appearance. Both the refreshed package and the original were on shelves at stores. I created a slideshow and video describing the changes along with a six second bumper ad that advertises the new look.

Process

Recently Sprouts Farmers Market has rebranded the look of all of their canned beans. Most of the changes are positive design choices. In the presentation shown here breaks down the changes and are organized them into positive, neutral, and negative. In the video below I go more in depth and discuss the brand refresh.

A bumper ad is an unskippable six second ad shown before a YouTube video and is a common form of advertising. The goal of this bumper ad was to be memorable with a playful tone, so I used fun, jazzy music and a cute animation. The horn blasts call attention to the motion graphics for the text that advertise the new look.
