The Lonely Planet

I started with an extensive thumbnailing process to try different concepts that could fit in such a vertical format. After deciding on the lonely planet concept I sketched out different character designs for the rover to select a friendly-looking one. I then painted the scene digitally in photoshop. I wrote a pitch and submitted it to Never Summer. I was selected as one of their top 25 and presented a five minute presentation on why my design should be selected.
